Tell Your Story With Confidence & Land It:
Speaker Coaching & Mentoring
In the last 12 years, I had the honor of giving over 50 keynotes and talks at technology conferences around the world.
Described by attendees as “motivating”, “inspiring,” “incredibly well-researched,” “passionate,” and “highly practical”, my presentations regularly receive top audience ratings.
Work with me to become the presenter you want to be—and move your audience.
All Eyes on You
Many people find public speaking scary.
I know that not just because of what my clients tell me, but also because I’ve blacked out on stage more than once and, after all these years, I still get super nervous before every talk. And yet, as you can see on my Talks Page, I still love it! That’s also because I’ve learned many useful tools to manage the parts of public speaking that don’t come as naturally to me.
So, even if you find it a bit daunting now, don’t forget:
Great presenters aren’t “born with it.”
They’re made, and public speaking can be learned.
And I promise, there are ways to make it more doable and, dare I say it, even enjoyable for you, too.

Choose-What-You-Pay (CWYP) Rates
I offer CWYP rates in addition to my regular rates because I work with people across the globe whose financial and life situations vary greatly. Conference stages have long been in dire need of more diverse experiences and voices being seen and heard there, so I want to offer these as a way for people to work with me who otherwise wouldn’t be able to.
These rates are on a sliding scale with a minimum of ~50% of my regular rates. I offer a limited contingency of these at any given time to make my services accessible to a wider range of leaders, while running and sustaining an independent, bootstrapped small business.
These rates may be for you if you’re motivated to grow through coaching and mentoring, but have limited financial means, e.g., because you’re currently unemployed, live in a lower-income country, are dealing with health-related hardship, or have had a disruptive change in your life like a divorce or career change. You do not need to disclose details to me.
I am currently only able to offer CWYP rates to people paying out of pocket, without support or reimbursement from their employer.
If you’re interested in working togetherat the CWYP rate, please mention it when you book an intro call or email me so I can let you know my next available spot.
What I bring to our Partnership
In addition to my experience as an engineering executive and coach, startup CEO, and artist, here’s what I bring to our collaboration:
I am also a trained singer with six years of training and public music performances; I started taking singing lessons because I disliked my singing voice, so I know what it's like to work on something that doesn't come naturally. For over 30 years, I’ve been playing the violin and performing as a soloist, in duos, and in orchestras. Occasionally, I still sing in choirs.
I’m a regular presenter at conferences with thousands of attendees. I also have experience participating in startup fundraising and as an engineering executive, and have given hundreds of internal presentations to peers, my department and teams, executives, and potential investors in my career.
I’m an introvert, have ADHD, and am autistic. I’ve regularly dealt with anxiety around presentations too, and still get nervous about them.
Oh, and I regularly receive praise for my stage outfits, which was one reason I ended up bringing together a smart and fashionable group to talk about being stylish in tech.
And: After months of meaning to launch this page, I finally did it—as a way to procrastinate working on my next presentation.
Hear what others Say about My Talks: Audience Feedback
“The single most powerful talk I've ever seen. Thank you for rightly challenging everyone who works in tech.”
“Wow! Great talk. So much good info and a challenge to grow!”
“Your talk was amazing! I can actually use this strategy to become more strategic.”
“Wow! Standing ovation for Lena! I think her extensive, hard-hitting cultural critique really resonated with the audience.”
“I loved your talk about Engineering Management and it has greatly helped me train for the role.”
“You were a stand-out speaker: Passionate, incredibly well-researched, and what you had to say really resonated with me.”
Let’s Do Great Work together!
I look forward to speaking with you.
(See what I did there? … I apologize profusely.)
